Karen and Tim tied the knot yesterday at the gorgeous and elegant McLean House on the estates of Sunnybrook in Toronto. It was a truly spectacular affair drawing guests from New Zealand (where the groom hails from), the UK and across Canada. And I can tell you it was worth the trip!
Karen and Tim met in the most Rom-Com fashion I have ever heard (and let me tell you I have heard a few how-we-met stories). Unbeknownst to each other they lived in the same condo tower in downtown Toronto separated by one floor, directly above/below each other. One day Karen entered the elevator and a button was already pressed (for the floor above her apartment) she didn’t notice and began searching her purse for keys. The elevator doors opened and Karen walked down the hall to 2107 instead of 2007 and tried her key in the door. It of course didn’t work, she began to panic knowing her dog was in the apartment alone, and so stared to reassure her pooch. “Its ok noodle, mommy’s here” through the door. Meanwhile Tim, is inside his condo lounging around in his skivvies and hears a commotion at his front door. He wings the door open and comes face to face with, the love of his life…. and the rest as they say is history.
I know! Have you ever!
To continue this tale of perfection their wedding included their nearest and dearest, who were treated to an emotional ceremony, a fabulous meal, and a great party!
