Christmas. Definitely my favourite time of year. The lights, the Mariah Carey Christmas CD, the Nog, the overpriced Starbucks. There is not a thing I dont love about you christmas!

This year is no different, so far the non stop fun has included;

Watching a production of It’s A Wonderful Life at the Arts Club Theatre on Granville Island

Viewing the spectacular Festival of Lights at Van Dussen Gardens in Vancouver (see photos below)

An Ottawa Christmas open house, held just before I left for Vancouver with friends at our place

Countless glasses of wine and nog with great friends and family

Does this remind anyone else of elf? “I passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops…”

I saw mommy….kissing Santa Claus.
