We have brilliant friends! Actually Graeme had these brilliant friends long before I came to Ottawa, so I can’t take too much credit for choosing them, but who’s counting? Anyway back to our brilliant friends. Why brilliant you ask? Well every year these smart people rent a cottage in Prince Edward County and do a week of winery tours, cheese shopping and vegetable tastings. Yup. That’s pretty smart. But here’s the brilliant part: neither rain, nor sleet, nor pregnancy, nor even an 8 month old can keep these two gems from their allotted week in PE County.  And this year we got invited along to see what it was all about and why they were so in love with the area. I thought you might enjoy seeing our little slice of PE County, wedged into a summer filled with weddings, work and  road trips.

Obviously they are looking for me… now who has a couple mil laying around to help me realize the dream I didn’t know I had until I saw this sign?  🙂 Bye bye PE County until next year….
